Specific features that differentiate the hybrid from a standard Jetta include a specific air-intake designed to control air through the engine, custom trunklid spoiler, special front air dam, underbody trim panels, and rear diffuser – all which reduce the Jetta Hybrid’s Coefficient of Drag (Cd) to .28, down from the standard Jetta’s .30. The lower the Cd, the more energy savings.

A host of interior and exterior treatments are also found throughout the Jetta Hybrid, including a “Power Meter” where the tachometer would be, and other features that provide information about battery life and power consumption. The Jetta Hybrid also features unique wheels.
