Before removing your batteries, place the Direction Control switch in the center “OFF” position (neutral) and turn the Start switch to “OFF”.

Delta-Q QuiQ Charger

The Delta-Q QuiQ is an automatic charger. It turns itself on when it is plugged into the wall outlet and turns off when batteries are fully charged. The charger continuously monitors battery voltage and if it drops below a specified value, the charger will turn on until the batteries topped up. The charger has built in lights for easy monitoring.

“Opportunity charging” is not advised. For maximum battery life, batteries should be discharged a minimum of 30% before starting a charging cycle.

This charger requires a standard household electrical circuit rated at a minimum of 15 Amps. Consult an authorized electrician if you do not know the configuration of your circuits.

Lester Summit Charger

The Lester Summit Charger an automatic charger. The specifications plate on the charger tells which type of battery it is configured for. Use of batteries not listed on the plate may result in premature failure of those batteries.

The charger turns itself on when it is plugged into the wall outlet and turns off when the batteries are fully charged. The charger continues to monitor the battery voltage and if the battery voltage drops below a threshold value, then the charger will turn on again for a short cycle to keep the batteries filled.

There are lights on the charger used to indicate the charging status and any faults which may have occurred during charging.

Taylor-Dunn B-200 & B-210 Charge Time

Average charging time for the B-200 and B-210 is about 8 to 10 hours. The time required to fully charge your batteries will vary depending on:

  • Capacity of the batteries: Higher capacitybattery requires longer charge time.
  • Output of the charger: Higher charger output requires less charge time.
  • Depth of discharge: The deeper a battery is discharged, the longer it takes to charge.
  • Temperature: Low temperatures require longer charge time.

It is not unusual for charge times to exceed 15-hours, especially with new batteries.
