Remote Key Fob Battery

The Ford Focus Electric key fob uses a CR2032 battery.

To access, you’ll want to first separate the key fob halves by inserting a slotted screw driver with a small head into the recess on the side of your key fob and twisting. The two halves should pry apart, where you will remove the old battery from the back half using a precision screwdriver to pop the battery out of it’s retainer. Then reinstall the new battery in the same orientation and recombine the two halves to complete the job.
