About the Yamaha G1
The Yamaha G1 was produced first as a gas variant in 1979 and then later was released as an electric model in 1980.
The electric model featured a 36V DC Motor powertrain. Yamaha G1 frames were made from tubular steel.
The gasoline model featured a 2-stroke engine and does not require the operator to mix fuel. The G1 features an “Autolube” system capable of handling the fuel mixture required by a 2-stroke. The autolube system calls for Yamalube 2 Oil.
