- Model year 2014 Q70 hybrids, with a date of manufacture from November 7, 2013, to December 10, 2013 were recalled due to damaged housings that could crack or fracture. This creates hazards in the road and disables the vehicle while in motion, causing crashes.
- Infiniti issued three separate recalls for its Q50 Hybrid, Q70 Hybrid and M35 Hybrid – roughly 13,794 vehicles in North America. According to NHTSA, “due to a software error, the electric motor may stop working while the vehicle is being driven using the electric motor only,” This creates a stalling condition with the car. To fix the defect, Infiniti will reprogramming the motor inverter software.
